Trevor i Paris: Detaljer om den kansellerte DLC-historien til GTA 5 avslørt

It’s no secret Rockstar Games had planned several full-fledged story DLCs for GTA 5. However, they were all canceled in favor of pushing GTA Online, and elements of some of them ended up in the game’s multiplayer mode. Thanks to a recent leak, details about one of the DLCs dedicated to Trevor have been revealed.

Last week, news broke of a leak of an early build of GTA 5 containing nearly 200 GB of the game's cut content. The leak once again confirmed Rockstar’s plans of returning to Liberty City, the fourth game’s setting; additionally, a new report reveals one of the DLCs has taken the GTA story outside the U.S. for the first time in a while. As reported by IGN, in the story DLC dedicated to Trevor, the character was portrayed as a secret agent working for the government. One of the missions would have taken him to Paris; the leak also mentions a level featuring a posh apartment where Trevor would likely have taken out a target and even a view of the city’s main landmark—the Eiffel Tower. However, it’s unclear whether players would have had the opportunity to explore Paris on their own or if this was a journey presented through cutscenes and a level set in a closed-off location.

There are less than two months left until the release of GTA 6 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, and most players expect the streets of Los Santos to slowly empty out starting November 19. The aforementioned early build of GTA 5 also included elements from the sixth entry, specifically map elements. Thanks to mods, players were able to see what GTA 5 looked like in 2015 and discover which locations were apparently cut from the game. The most notable scrapped locations currently believed to be missing are a Key West-like area and a piece of the South American section of the map, where some of the story missions were presumably set.
