Dying Light: The Beast-hurtigfiks 1.2.3 utgitt med stabilitets- og spillrettinger
Techland has released Hotfix 1.2.3 for Dying Light: The Beast, bringing multiple improvements to stability, gameplay, and quest progression. The update addresses random stuttering issues for players using Frame Generation, allowing smoother gameplay experiences. Various crashes have also been resolved, enhancing overall game stability across PC and consoles.
The hotfix adjusts gameplay mechanics, making interactions like grabbing Biters less frustrating and more balanced. It also fixes broken patrolling routes for Screamers in Dark Zones. Players who experienced in-game anomalies such as breakable doors respawning or music looping infinitely after reloading certain quests will see these issues resolved.
Quest progression received attention as well. The tutorial now properly handles modded weapons received from players who have completed the tutorial, preventing blocked progress. Co-op content like The Mine is more reliable, as destructible doors now correctly respond for all players. Specific safe spots, including the Mental Asylum, no longer trap players or block entrances due to unintended obstacles.
Graphical and UI fixes are part of the update, with HDR glitches on PlayStation 5 addressed and the previously missing “Join the Community” button restored on consoles. DLSS sharpening is now correctly applied, ensuring visual consistency for PC players.
Earlier performance analysis of the PC version highlighted that while the game runs smoothly even on older GPUs, its visuals are not particularly impressive compared with modern standards.
