Blizzard released the full patch notes for Diablo 4 Season 14 on June 27, 2026. The Paladin gets the most dramatic treatment this update. For a class that sat at the bottom of Pit leaderboards through Season 13 — after leading the field across Seasons 11 and 12 — the turnaround is substantial. Shield Charge damage doubles from 90% to 180%, its cooldown drops from 10 to 8 seconds, and Heaven's Fury loses 15 seconds off its cooldown. All four major Oaths received damage increases between 20 and 30 percentage points. Supplication more than doubles, from 60–80% to 120–160%.

The Paladin's fall came from nerfs applied after two seasons at the top. Season 13 made clear those nerfs went further than intended. I play enough endgame content to know that when a class consistently underperforms at high Pit tiers over a full season, that's not a build problem — that's a tuning problem.

Beyond the Paladin, the Warlock gets the most individual changes by volume, with Paragon node durations standardized to 20 seconds and Ae'grom's Schism jumping from 30–50% to 120–150%. Unique items across all classes now drop with two guaranteed affixes — I think that change will matter more to high Torment farmers than any of the class buffs, since it removes the specific variance that makes grinding Uniques feel punishing. The Harlequin Crest lost its Damage Reduction but gained two extra skill ranks. The Grandfather's Critical Strike damage fell from 150% to 120%. The Barbarian's fury gain from taking damage is now capped, and Battle Trance gives the Barrage variant for free. Druid's Waxing Gibbous more than doubles its damage bonus. The Rogue loses Dance of Knives damage but gains on Flurry and Twisting Blades. The Sorceress sees Unstable Currents receive diminishing returns on skill rank scaling. The Spiritborn's Rushing Claw upgrade is simplified to one additional charge.

Ruptures

• The spawn rate for elite monsters in Ruptures has been increased
• Rupture tears will now sometimes move around the area
• Rupture tears can now be closed quicker
• Rupture tears now spawn more often
• Rewards for completing Rupture and Realmwalker encounters have been generally improved
• Ruptures now spawn less frequently in the Pit
• The overall difficulty for Ruptures has been decreased in normal difficulty, so lower-level players can more confidently clear them

Unique Item Updates

• Unique, Mythic Unique, and Iconic Mythic Items can now have affixes altered via Enchanting
• Added affixes from Enchanting, Transfiguration, and Tempering are always max rolls when added to a Mythic Unique
• Chaotic and Focused Reroll have been removed for Unique and Mythic Unique items
• The Upgrade to Mythic recipe in the Horadric Cube now always creates an item for the same gear slot
• Mythic Unique Items cannot be used in the Upgrade to Mythic Unique recipe

Read also, Blizzard ran a crossover event between Diablo Immortal and StarCraft titled Aeon of Stars from May 13 to June 10, 2026.
