In 2026, several major games from Xbox Games Studios are set to launch, including Gears of War: E-Day and Halo: Campaign Evolved. The following year will see the release of Fable, Clockwork Revolution, State of Decay, and possibly Marvel's Blade from Arkane Studios. However, a new report suggests that at least three more unannounced projects may currently be in development.

Referring to the resumes of several employees, insider Sikandar shared on the social network Bluesky that Xbox Game Studios has three unannounced projects in the works. Although he didn't reveal which studios are developing them or what the games specifically are, it was mentioned that the projects include an online FPS, a hero-collector MMO, and an ARPG.

At the moment, it's hard to guess what these games might be, but recently an insider leak suggested that Microsoft wants to create their own Destiny 2, set in the Halo universe. Additionally, there have been reports that the company is allegedly working on two separate Transformers video games. However, none of these reports have been officially confirmed, so they should be taken with a grain of salt.

Today, June 15, it was announced that as part of a restructuring, Microsoft plans to shut down two of its Xbox gaming divisions, and Compulsion Games, the developers of South of Midnight, could be one of them. Furthermore, Craig Duncan announced his departure from the position of head of Xbox Game Studios, a role he held for less than two years.
