Specifically, some unnamed game retailer from the UK suggested that GTA 6 pre-orders will start on Tuesday, May 12, and it will be priced at $70, which turned out to be fake. However, the latest leak is giving fans hope and a more reliable source to believe it.

First discovered by YouTuber Frogboyx1Gaming, American retailer Best Buy accidentally revealed that GTA 6 pre-orders will start on May 18, to be exact: it is expected to be the period from May 18 to 21. In addition, as can be seen, the store promises a 5% cashback for making a purchase.

A Reddit user, XTRevivals, compiled a detailed post with leaks about GTA 6 pre-orders on Best Buy from May 18 to 21, referring to those who, like Frogboyx1Gaming, received a similar mailing. As you can check out in the post below, it mentions users of the ResetEra and GTAForums forums, various streamers, and others.

The start of GTA 6 pre-orders from May 18 to 21 makes sense, since on May 21 Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, has scheduled the latest earnings conference call. It is still unknown whether the potential start of game pre-orders will be accompanied by a new trailer, which could have been added to the official developer website very recently, but fans will certainly be glad about it.
