Many things make the Grand Theft Auto series games unique. Besides realistic cities, constantly busy NPCs, and the ability to create chaos across the map, the game is also famous for how Rockstar Games creates fictional brands, parodying well-known companies. In this way, they kill two birds with one stone—it gives them creative freedom, and, at the same time, they avoid legal issues.

With the wait for GTA 6 ongoing, one can only guess what the developers have in store this time. Nevertheless, like all previous entries in the franchise, GTA 6 will not feature real brand names, as stated by Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick in a recent interview with Variety. You can check out the highlights from his interview below:

“We need to be true to the underlying intellectual property and we need to be true to our consumers. It's a fictional world and everything in it is fictional. So we're not even at risk of doing brand partnerships because all the brands are made up. And I think that keeps us pure.”

In the same interview, Zelnick stated that we would soon learn more information about GTA 6. Previously, the head of Take-Two attended the iicon conference, where he touched upon the potential pricing of the game without going into detail, while also hinting that Rockstar Games might be developing a new installment in the L.A. Noire series.

Take-Two previously confirmed that the company’s next financial report is scheduled for May 21, and fans are eagerly anticipating that it may involve new information regarding GTA 6—or even the release of a new trailer. According to Kelshi, a prediction-based trading platform, there is a big probability GTA 6 Trailer 3 will be released before June 2026 - and this probability is growing every day.
