Take-Two-sjef Strauss Zelnick snakket om mulig pris for GTA 6

Fans continue to await new information about Grand Theft Auto VI from Rockstar Games, and they are especially eager to see a new trailer for the game. It has been nearly two years since the release of the second—and, so far, most recent—trailer for GTA 6, and after numerous leaks and rumors, players can’t wait to see how the game has changed since it was first revealed.

While the developers aren't in a hurry, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick, the parent company of Rockstar Games, attended the iicon gaming conference, where he was, of course, asked about GTA 6. While he didn’t reveal some gameplay details, he once again speculated on how much the game might cost, though he didn’t mention any specific figures. He also reiterated that the game’s marketing campaign will launch soon. More of the highlights from his interview about the possible price of GTA 6, reported by IGN, you can check out below:

“Consumers pay for the value that you bring to them, and our job is to charge way way way less of the value delivery. How you feel about something you buy is the intersection of the thing itself and what you pay for. Consumers need to feel like the thing itself is amazing and the price they were charged was fair for what they got.

If you look at it through that lens, that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. But that isn’t the lens through which we look. Instead, we look at… how do we deliver something amazing, and how do we make sure that what people pay for it feels very reasonable.

What we think about is making the most spectacular piece of entertainment on Earth, in history – and it’s a pretty daunting challenge. If we do that, and if we’re of service to our customers, then the upside will take care of itself.”

As we know, Take-Two confirmed their next earnings call conference on May 21, and a lot of fans remain hopeful to receive potential new information about GTA 6, as it usually happens. Moreover, there is a chance that Rockstar Games might potentially announce the new trailer of the game this month —as they did with their previous installments.

The game is confirmed to be released on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
