Far Cry får en TV-serietilpasning

Far Cry remains one the most popular video games franchise by Ubisoft. The latest entry, Far Cry 6, was released in 2021 and while we are waiting for new title, game series gets unexpected adaptation.

Variety reports that Far Cry TV Series has been confirmed for FX and will be streaming on Hulu. Noah Howley, who previously worked on Alien: Earth series, and Rob Mac (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) will serve as executives producers while Mac will also star in the show.

Though the details remains unconfirmed, it is said the series will have a format straight from the games and feature different cast and different setting per each season. Who knows, maybe it will a direct adaptation and we will see Michael Mando back as Vaas Montenegro from Far Cry 3. For those who doesn't know: Ubisoft released an eight-episode Internet series called The Far Cry Experience - prequel to Far Cry 3 where we saw Vas appearing before his outstanding performance in video game. Howley and Mac are obviously have better vision on how Far Cry series should be looking and it's intriguing to see which video games will be adapted into small screen. The release date for the series is currently unknown.

Considering new Far Cry video games, the seventh entry is reportedly in development, but hasn't been confirmed yet by Ubisoft.
