Rockstar Games har endelig tatt tak i den massive lekkasjen i GTA 6-spillingen

Despite the announcement earlier this month regarding Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look—the new official presentation of the most anticipated game of 2026, set to air tomorrow on Netflix—this August has been a true nightmare for Rockstar. The reason is a massive GTA 6 leak. The hacker Cyberleek has already released more than 10 gameplay videos of the game, and Rockstar Games has commented publicly on the incident for the first time.

On its social media, the company released an official statement regarding the GTA 6 gameplay leak. The studio stated that this came as a real blow to the development team and acknowledged that the game’s reveal should have taken place earlier to prevent such occurrences. Despite the ongoing leaks, Rockstar confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will premiere on Netflix tomorrow, and the game’s release is still scheduled for November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. We know that many of you have been waiting to hear from us regarding the events of the past week. It would be an understatement to say that having video of Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay leak in this way has been heartbreaking for our team, and this is obviously not how we intended for you to see the game after all this time. We are very sorry that everything has taken as long as it has – from getting the game finished (nearly there!) to sharing more details and official gameplay, and providing the community with everything you want to know.

We are very excited for everyone to see the extended look tomorrow. It has taken longer than we wanted to get it ready, but as with everything we do, we know we need to exceed your expectations, and we are determined to deliver at the level you expect and deserve. While it is unfortunate that the intended game experience may now be impacted by some spoilers, we hope that everyone will wait a bit longer to experience the game for themselves on November 19.

Interestingly, Rockstar's announcement came out almost at the same time as a new—and now the fifteenth—GTA 6 gameplay leak. In the video, Jason drives through Vice City at night, and at the end of the clip, we see Lucia during a cutscene.
