Tom Henderson avslører når Rockstar Games kan avsløre en ny GTA 6-trailer

Exactly one month ago, on June 25, 2026, Rockstar Games opened pre-orders for GTA 6, and fans hoped this would mark the start of an active marketing campaign for the year's most anticipated game. A month later, the developers still haven't released a new trailer, new screenshots, or any fresh details. With less than four months remaining before GTA 6 launches, fans are desperate for something new—and it looks like they might get exactly that as soon as next month.

On the latest episode of the Insider Gaming Weekly podcast, well-known insider Tom Henderson suggested the long-awaited third GTA 6 trailer could be revealed on August 6. It's not just that the number "6" seems to be a connecting factor (though that could be part of it too)—Henderson also ties this to the upcoming Take-Two Interactive’s earnings call, set for August 7, which will look a bit different from previous ones. It's scheduled for 8 A.M. ET, which lines up with the window Rockstar Games typically uses to drop new information about its project, and it's set to happen before markets open, unusual since these calls normally take place afterward.

In February, he predicted that a new trailer won’t be revealed until early August.

Henderson has repeatedly shared scoops about GTA 6 that turned out to be accurate, including the game's $80 price tag. Back in February, he also predicted a new GTA 6 trailer will not be released until August, and this June he teased something similar, right when everyone expected a trailer to drop imminently.

As for the Grand Theft Auto VI trailer 3 itself, rumors suggested it will feature a Rolling Stones song – “Heartbreaker”, along with footage from Liberty City, the setting of GTA IV. It's also reported the trailer will be more intense than the previous two and will reveal new parts of the game’s map—specifically its northern and western regions.
