GSC Game World hinter om den kommende S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope-utgivelsen

Earlier this month, GSC Game World released a new trailer for the upcoming S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl expansion titled Cost of Hope. Unfortunately, fans still don’t know the exact release date for the DLC, but a recent post from the developers suggests it will be coming very soon.

A new post was published on the official S.T.A.L.K.E.R. page on X to mark the Steam Summer Sale 2026, which started on June 25 and will run until July 9. The developers not only reminded everyone that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is now discounted by 30% but also announced that the next adventure set in the Zone is closer than many players expect, as you can check out below:

Earlier reports also revealed that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope will introduce a new heroine named Mavka and bring back at least two characters from the original games —Suslov, a scientist from S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, and General Voronin, who appeared only as a secondary character in the second installment. Moreover, according to a recent leak, Cost of Hope might require over 200 GB of free storage space. In addition to Cost of Hope, GSC Game World is reportedly developing Patch 2.0 for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, which is expected to be released before the DLC. This likely explains why the recent update listed on SteamDB was so massive.
