Ubisoft avslørte mer informasjon om Black Tides – den siste oppdateringen til Assassin’s Creed Shadows

In less than a month, the highly anticipated remake of the fourth installment in the franchise, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, originally released back in 2013, will be launched. However, Ubisoft isn't done with Assassin's Creed Shadows—the latest mainline title in the series—and has officially announced that the final expansion for the game, titled Black Tides, will be coming out very soon.

Ubisoft has officially announced that the final expansion for Assassin's Creed Shadows, titled Black Tides, will be available on all platforms tomorrow, June 16. This update introduces a new story arc, which will conclude the tale of Naoke and Yasuke and offer about two hours of fresh content. The developers also recommend playing the previous updates, A Critical Encounter and A Puzzlement, to fully grasp the unfolding story.

Additionally, it has been confirmed that Black Tides will introduce a new gameplay feature called Domains —five modified simulations that evolve as players progress through the challenges. These will allow players to test their combat skills and will include new equipment along with exclusive character rewards. Furthermore, Assassin's Creed Shadows will feature a new Rift called Horizon, which expands the lore of the modern-day storyline, as well as two new projects in the Animus Hub—Undertow and Currents.

What's particularly interesting is that Black Tides will also be connected to the previously mentioned Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. Specifically, the two new Animus Hub projects, Undertow and Currents, will feature outfits for Naoke and Yasuke inspired by the remake. Moreover, the upcoming pirate adventure, set in the present day, essentially picks up right where Assassin's Creed Shadows left off. Players can expect to encounter new Animus anomalies as well as a narrative link between the main game's story and Edward Kenway’s tale within the rifts.
