Nintendo delte de første detaljene om The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake

One of the biggest announcements this month was the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which, after numerous rumors, was finally confirmed during the Nintendo Direct presentation on June 9. The announcement sparked so much discussion that it ranked second on the list of the most discussed and watched projects, surpassed only by God of War: Laufey’s.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (the developers have decided to keep the original name for the remake) is expected to release this year exclusively on the Switch 2. However, the exact release date and many other details remain unknown. Nevertheless, fans have uncovered some potential information about the remake. In particular, a brief synopsis mentions that the updated version of Ocarina of Time will feature "stunning visuals, updated designs, and timeless gameplay." This likely suggests that it will be a full remake with completely revamped graphics and gameplay.

In addition to the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Nintendo is also working on a film adaptation of the franchise, set to premiere in April next year. Filming has already been completed, and the movie is currently in post-production. The lead roles are played by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link and Bo Bragason as Princess Zelda. The film is directed by Wes Ball, known for The Maze Runner and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. Also, according to Nick Baker, the next game series title might use a concept to switch between realities and dimensions similar to Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
