Rykter om at nytt God of War-spill skal annonseres på neste PlayStation-konferanse
Santa Monica Studio, the developers of God of War game series, are officially working on God of War: Trilogy Remake, which was announced this February on PlayStation’s State of Play show. It seems like the studio may not change its traditions and announce a new game in the franchise at the next Sony show.
This information comes from the leaker elesnicho —the one who spoiled that State of Play show will take place in February, which turned out to be true. His latest post on X social media hints that the new God of War game, specifically the rumored spin-off dedicated to Faye, will be revealed there.
“Faye of War”
Although Santa Monica Studio hasn’t given any comments about the new God of War title dedicated to Faye, the studio’s creative director, Cory Barlog, recently could have confirmed the game on Bluesky during the conversations with its users. As for the game itself, it is rumored to be a prequel to God of War (2018) featuring Faye as the protagonist and focusing on East Asian mythology. At the same time, Kratos is also expected to make a cameo appearance in the game.
As for the next State of Play show, PlayStation hasn’t revealed yet when it takes place, but it’s also rumored to happen later this month or early June, as revealed by insider NateTheHate.
Besides God of War spin-off about Faye, Santa Monica Studio is believed to be working on another God of War installment—possibly the next mainline title set in Egypt.
