Rockstar Games ansetter flere ansatte til GTA 6-testing

Less than 6 months remain until the release of Grand Theft Auto VI, undoubtedly the most anticipated video game of 2026. While the studio is ignoring fans' requests to reveal new game content, it is actively hiring staff for a likely pre-release test of its upcoming project.

Earlier this week, Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Rockstar Games Priyanka Mourya announced on her LinkedIn page that Rockstar Games is looking to hire game testers for their upcoming event in Bangalore, scheduled for April 18. Although it’s not mentioned to which game it must be related, the gamers are confident these tests belong to Grand Theft Auto VI, as the game’s marketing starts soon, in the summer. Plus, this won’t be the only event about testing something, as Rockstar announced they’re also hiring an Associate QA Technical Testers for its Edinburgh studio. It is important to mention that these tests are different: in Bangalore, they are believed to be related to GTA 6’s game functionality—gameplay testing (mechanics, features, high-volume bug hunting, and polishing), while the UK studio will focus on possible performance issues, frame rate stability, logs, and benchmarking. We know that Rockstar Games isn't the one giving their comments on such fans's theories, so this is still speculation, but considering Grand Theft Auto VI is preparing for its huge launch this November and won’t be postponed, which is confirmed by the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, Strauss Zelnick, some traces are very difficult to hide.
