Amazons God of War har valgt ny skuespillerinne til Freya-rollen.

The production of upcoming God of War TV series, developed by Amazon, has recently started. We also received our first look at Kratos (Ryan Hurst) and Atreus (Callum Vinson), which left the fans dissatisfied. At the same time, the show has cast a new actress for an important role.

Variety has reported that Sonya Walger (Lost, For All Mankind) has been cast in God of War TV series. She will portray Freya, a major character from God of War (2018) and God of War: Ragnarok. She is the latest addition to the cast since March 2, when four new actors were added and revealed Louis Cunningham, Ben Chapple, Island Austin, and Evelyn Miller will play Modi, Magni, Thrud, and Odin’s Valkyrie, respectively.

Besides Ryan Hurst (Kratos) and Callum Vinson (Atreus), God of War TV show also features Ed Skrein (Baldur), Olafur Darri Olafsson (Thor), Mandy Patinkin (Odin), Alastair Duncan (Mimir), Danny Woodburn (Brok), Jeff Gulka (Sindi), Teresa Parkers (Sif), and Max Parker (Heimdall).

The show is confirmed to adapt the events of God of War (2018) and God of War: Ragnarok, with two seasons already planned. Frederick E.O. Toye (Shogun) is confirmed to direct the first two episodes of season one.
