So far, 2026 hasn’t been easy for Ubisoft in terms of losing its developers, closing studios, and layoffs. This weekend, we find out another internal department, Red Storm Entertainment, a studio that is known for Tom Clancy’s video games, has been shut down, with 105 employees losing their jobs.

Nevertheless, Ubisoft also confirmed the studio will continue to function by supporting the Snowdrop engine and customer relations but not developing titles. That might be the turning point, as during the latest Insider Weekly Gaming podcast, it was revealed Red Storm Entertainment has worked on ten different projects, and you can check out its list below:

It doesn’t mean the above-mentioned game are now cancelled, as Red Storm is likely to be a supportive studio during the development of video games. It’s curious that Beyond Good & Evil 2 is mentioned in this list considering we haven’t heard for a while about this game and the fact it was announced back in 2027. However, after the cancellation of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake earlier this year, Ubisoft confirmed Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still in development. There is also mention of Watch Dogs Director’s Cut, which is little bit confused as previous report suggested Watch Dogs: Legion, not the original Watch Dog, will receive a director’s cut. Anyway, at least we know Ubisoft have 10+ games in active development and hopefully we will find out soon more official information about them.

Ubisoft is also working on multiple Assassin’s Creed titles—Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, the remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe, the next mainline game series title, multiplayer Assassin’s Creed Codename Invictus, and also two new Far Cry games.
