Pearl Abyss har gitt ut ny oppdatering for Crimson Desert – oppdateringsnotater versjon 1.16.00

Fans have noticed Pearl Abyss, the studio behind one of this year's best RPGs, Crimson Desert, is spending more time making free updates for the game. As a result, Patch Notes Version 1.16.00 brought a host of new features, including a major overhaul of the trading and banking systems, significantly expanding gameplay options.

With Patch Notes Version 1.16.00, Crimson Desert has added over 130 new trading posts, 7 wagon workshops in the city of Pywel, and plenty of new trade goods. A dedicated "Trade" tab now also appears on the map, letting players view delivery routes to royal posts, which have been sped up as well. Pearl Abyss has also put significant focus on the in-game banking system—Crimson Desert now features an interest income cap, new investment options, and the ability to purchase rarer items. New Additions:

• Trading Posts: Added 133 new trading posts, including the merchant at the Pailune Trading Post. Improved the trading system so that trade good prices change when too many are sold at a single location. Wagons no longer disappear after delivering trade goods to a royal trading post. You can make higher profits by trading at a post that is hard to reach by wagon.
• Trade Goods: Added 24 new types of high-value trade goods and 4 new types of regular trade goods. Packaged trade goods can now be stacked up to a maximum of 10 or 100, depending on their price.
• Wagon Workshops: Added 7 wagon workshops across Pywel that can serve as intermediate trading posts.
• Quality of Life Improvements: When riding a wagon, wagon routes are now displayed on the minimap. Added a "Trade" tab to the map.
• Improved bank-related contents: Adjusted the maximum number of gold bars gained or lost through bank interest to 40. Added the "Claim Bank Strongbox." (Depositing 10 or more bonds allows you to start investing; Bonds can be exchanged for 10 Gold Bars; Added the "Bond Shop", where you can buy rare items with bonds).

Main Improvements:

• Fixed an issue where contribution points could exceed 100.
• Added and improved interaction animations for certain animals – Platypus, Feathered Weasel, Armadillo, Porcupine, Hedgehog.
• Fixed an issue where the game would slow down when using Blinding Flash Finisher on multiple enemies with a Wind Spear.
• Implemented AMD FSR SDK 2.3.0. (Added support for FSR Upscaling 4.1 on AMD Radeon RX 7000 Series (RDNA 3) GPUs; Updated Ray Regeneration to 1.2.0.
• Fixed an issue where some distant objects were not visible in certain areas.
• Fixed various localization errors and improved localization quality across all languages.

It's quite likely Pearl Abyss has shifted its strategy for releasing Crimson Desert updates. The Patch Notes Version 1.16.00 suggest future updates might focus on specific aspects of the game—such as trading and banking in this case—rather than spreading attention thin across many features at once. It's actually a smart approach, letting individual features get substantial improvements one at a time.

That could also explain why updates now seem to take a bit longer to arrive. Still, thanks to Patch Notes Versions, Crimson Desert has become one of the top three best-selling games of 2026, surpassed only by Resident Evil Requiem and 007 First Light. As we know, Pearl Abyss is also officially working on DLC for the game, though details remain unknown for now.
