On June 24, Rockstar Games also announced that physical editions of GTA 6 would not include a disc, which has left many players disappointed, as discussions continue on Reddit. However, it seems this may not be entirely accurate. According to the website ppe.pl, citing insider Graczdari—who had previously confirmed the absence of discs in physical copies of GTA 6—developers plan to release physical copies with a disc as early as December 2026, reassuring fans. In fact, as Reddit users have pointed out, Rockstar Games' customer support has essentially confirmed this information, as you can check out in the photo below:

However, at this point Rockstar Games has not yet made an official announcement regarding a physical disc release of GTA 6. On June 24, the studio announced pre-order bonuses for GTA 6 that include items inspired by the original GTA: Vice City. Additionally, it was disclosed that physical copies of the game will not include discs —instead, buyers will receive a code to download the product.
