One of the biggest releases this fall, especially in September, is the new game from Insomniac Games—Marvel's Wolverine. The developers are actively expanding their Marvel comics universe, and alongside the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, we will get to play as Logan—arguably the most famous member of the X-Men. This choice will directly influence the game's concept and many of its gameplay elements.

As revealed in the debut gameplay of Marvel's Wolverine, first showcased at the State of Play event in early June, the developers are focusing on intense close-quarters combat filled with a profusion of blood and gore. However, according to a new report from Legion Looterana, Insomniac Games has ensured that players can customize the game settings to suit their preferences, allowing the gameplay experience in Marvel's Wolverine to be tailored for maximum comfort.

The fact that each player can decide how to enjoy this adventure is fantastic news. The more options, the better.

Previously, Insomniac Games confirmed that, unlike the Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise, the Wolverine game will be more linear and won’t feature an open world. The developers also plan to make the levels as varied as possible, while still allowing players to explore freely in search of additional, seemingly story-driven and gameplay elements, similar to the Tomb Raider and God of War franchises. Additionally, the studio confirmed that Marvel's Wolverine will include special zones where Logan can interact with other comic book characters, as well as a dedicated customization feature for Wolverine’s costumes and claws.
