Among the confirmed games so far, only two projects have been announced - Among Us and Soulframe—but Geoff Keighley himself sparked discussions that Half-Life 3 might be announced at the Summer Game Fest. The game, according to rumors, has been in development for a long time, and its announcement was originally planned for last year's The Game Awards - where, incidentally, Keighley was also the host.

Also, insiders have repeatedly reported about the announcement of the Resident Evil Code: Veronica remake at the show, and the closer we get to the start of the show, the more rumors about announcements should be expected.
