Microsoft bekreftet at ny Xbox-spillutstilling er planlagt for juni

A few days ago, Microsoft held an Xbox Partner Preview presentation, where new games were announced and studios revealed trailers for their upcoming titles. You can check out everything that was announced and revealed during the event here, but Microsoft has already confirmed their next big gaming show.

The company confirms via the newest post on Xbox Wire that Xbox Games Showcase will officially take place on June 7, 2026, and will be available to watch on YouTube and Twitch. We can expect, as mentioned in the blog, “first gameplay looks and huge news on upcoming titles from our first-party studios across the Xbox family, as well as our third-party partners around the globe—from the biggest franchises to soon-to-be indie darlings.”

Moreover, immediately after Xbox Games Showcase, we will see Gears of War: E-Day Direct, where we will probably see the new gameplay of the upcoming title, and considering the game still doesn’t have a release date, this mystery is finally likely to be solved. Multiple reports suggested the game is being eyed for release in the second half of 2026.

Traditionally, Xbox Games Showcase is a huge event for all gamers. For instance, at last year’s show we saw the announcements of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants, Persona 4 Revival, and more.
