One of the most anticipated games of 2026 is Control Resonant - the sequel to Remedy's 2019 game, which is also the studio's largest project. It was previously announced only that the game would be released this year, but thanks to a recent leak, the possible release date of the game has become known, which is not long to wait for.

One of the Reddit users discovered that on the gamescomingout.com the release date for Control Resonant is already scheduled for June 30, 2026, and most importantly, it is not a placeholder. Nevertheless, Remedy has not yet commented on the possible release date of the sequel, and some users consider it too early.

The original Control title also came out in the summer (August 27, 2019), and considering that several gaming shows are coming up, such as State of Play (June 2) and Summer Game Fest (June 5-8), it is quite possible that Remedy would want to delight fans with a new trailer for Control Resonant while also announcing the official release date.

The studio is also developing Max Payne 1 & 2 remakes, which are now in full production, as well as a new IP, which is at the stage of concept looking.
