007 First Light lansert på Steam – en av salgslederne og nesten 90 % positive vurderinger

On May 27, IO Interactive released their new project—007 First Light. The new James Bond game turned out to be one of the best action-adventure titles of 2026, and its success is indicated by the figures observed on Steam.

007 First Light is currently at the top of the best-selling games on Steam, surpassing other recently released games - Forza Horizon 6, Paralives, Subnautica 2, and LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight—as well as other projects, including Street Fighter 6, Starminer, GTA V Enhanced, Tekken 8, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. IO Interactive has not yet reported on the financial success of the game, but at this pace, the announcement won’t keep itself waiting for long.

The picture looks even better if you look at the game's rating on Steam. At the moment, it stands at almost 90%, according to SteamDB, with more than 7,000 positive reviews, and the peak number of concurrent players currently is 68,477 people.

Gaming media also appreciated 007 First Light, praising IO Interactive for the beautifully recreated action scenes, engaging gameplay, and the atmosphere of the signature style of the best James Bond films. The game currently has a rating of 87 on Metacritic and 88 on OpenCritic. You can also check out how IO Interactive is planning to support 007 First Light thanks to TacSim - optional mode accessible from the main menu or from Q's basement at specific points in the story that remixes existing levels from the campaign with different rules and conditions.
