The latest earnings call from Take-Two Interactive took place recently, which immediately caused several reasons for indignation among fans. Despite numerous rumors and leaks, the new GTA 6 trailer has not been released, nor have the game's price and the opening of pre-orders been announced—at least for the time being.

Nevertheless, Take-Two did reveal something about GTA 6; in particular, they confirmed that the game's release will take place on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, and no delays are planned. Moreover, according to preliminary estimates, Take-Two Interactive's revenue in the next fiscal year will be approximately $8 billion thanks to GTA 6, which is an astonishing figure.

Shortly after the reveal of the latest earnings call results, Variety shared a new interview with the CEO of Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick. He revealed some interesting information about GTA 6 marketing. Specifically, he teased that it's about to start in the middle of June, and he confirmed it was never a plan to reveal the game’s price via earnings call. “We never make marketing announcements in our analyst calls. Never ever ever.

So the next few weeks I don’t think it’ll be summertime yet, but when it’s summertime, Rockstar expects to start marketing GTA 6.”

Something similar was stated by the Bloomberg gaming journalist, Jason Schreier, in a recent post on Bluesky. In a new interview with the media, Take-Two’s CEO teased to Schreier that GTA 6 pre-orders will become available in mid-June, when the game's marketing begins. Also, Zelnick addressed the recent Best Buy leak about GTA 6 pre-orders.

“Take-Two earnings: Grand Theft Auto VI is still planned for November 19. No delay. In an interview with Bloomberg today, CEO Strauss Zelnick said he didn't know where this week's Best Buy rumors came from and that pre-orders typically start alongside marketing (which will begin this summer).”

Given the fact that summer is actually starting on June 21, not June 1, due to the summer solstice, most likely, it is then that we should expect official details about GTA 6, including the release of a new trailer, the announcement of the price, and the opening of pre-orders.
