GTA 6-utvikleren er ikke fornøyd med Bloombergs Jason Schreier

Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier is one of the most trusted persons in the gaming industry, and when he shares any information, he has good reason to believe it, as he is in contact with people who are close to the truth. Over the last few months, he revealed a lot of information about future releases, including GTA 6—the most anticipated video game of 2026.

Speaking of Grand Theft Auto VI, there have been some fascinating details in the relationship between Jason Schreier and Rockstar Games. Bloomberg’s journalist repeatedly tried to cast the company in a negative light by claiming that employees were working 50 to 60 hours a week, that the work culture had changed, that management decisions were influencing project development, and much more. However, as revealed by GTA BOOM portal, one of Rockstar Games developers doesn’t really like Jason Schreier. One of X social media users related to GTA 6 news, GTAVI_Countdown, has responded to Bloomberg’s reporter that hopefully he will reveal some of GTA 6 information soon. Surprisingly, Saikat Koley, who is the lead character artist at Rockstar Games, replied and wrote his:

“We don't want him poking his nose into our company and project.”

We haven't seen Rockstar Games developers react this way to posts about Jason Schreier before, but it seems like Saikat Koley might have some personal animosity toward the insider. Anyway, the post was almost immediately deleted, and the account of Rockstar Games developer was also deactivated. It looks like the developing studio might have been involved in this.

As for GTA 6, the players are hopeful that the new information about the game will be finally revealed next month because Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, has announced another round of financial reports for the fourth quarter and 2026 fiscal year, scheduled for May 21.
