Pearl Abyss varsler om den største oppdateringen så langt for Crimson Desert

Earlier this month, Pearl Abyss presented the studio’s plans to support Crimson Desert, their latest RPG released back in March, during the next months. As developers confirmed, the game will continue to receive multiple updates, including new content and features.

It’s also been a while since Pearl Abyss released the latest patch for the game, and as developers explain in the latest post on X social media, it’s related to the scale of the patch, and the fans are thinking they’re getting the biggest update for Crimson Desert so far. Nevertheless, studio is hopeful to release a fresh update this week, as you can check out their post below:

“Hey Greymanes,

We’re currently preparing our next update which will include several features mentioned in last week's Dev Update notice, including the addition of a keyboard/mouse and controller preset, difficulty settings, category tabs for your inventory, and more. We want to take our time with testing and polishing things before we roll the patch out, which we expect to do sometime next week. Also, due to the distant scenery quality improvements we are adding in, this patch size will be larger than our previous ones. We hope you're looking forward to this update, and thanks for your patience and support!”

Crimson Desert continues to do fine, as it recently sold 5 million copies across all platforms. Besides releasing updates for Crimson Desert, Pearl Abyss is also working on their next title - DokeV, announced back in 2019. It's an open-world action-adventure video game featuring Dokebi—Korean folklore creatures that gain strength from people’s dreams and collide together on their adventures. The release date of the game is currently planned no earlier than 2027 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.

Crimson Desert is now available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Mac, and Xbox ROG Ally.
