Utgivelsesvindu for God of War-trilogiens nyinnspilling avslørt
God of War Trilogy Remake was announced at the latest PlayStation's State of Play. Sony has revealed that TC Carson will return to voice the iconic Kratos, and the project is still at an early stage of development. However, a new report gives an update about the game’s potential release date.
According to reliable PlayStation insider TCMFGames, the upcoming God of War Trilogy Remake is set to release by 2028 on PlayStation 5 and is likely to be released later on PlayStation 6 as well. You can check out his latest report from X social media below:
- Originally rumored to be in the works as part of a trilogy;
- Original rumors began in 2023;
- Has since been confirmed in the works in 2026 at the most recent SOP;
- Could be ready to launch by 2028 for PlayStation 5 and 6 likely as a cross gen game;
Santa Monica Studio hasn’t unveiled any details of God of War Trilogy Remake so far, but Christopher Judge, another voice of Kratos, has confirmed the game will have a new combat system, new content, and technologies that were absent from the original titles.
Besides God of War Trilogy Remake, it is believed the next God of War game will be announced this year, with Faye from God of War: Ragnarok as the protagonist. Although, there are still r umors circulating around the next mainline God of War video game set in Egypt.
Amazon is also working on a TV series based on God of War (2018) and God of War: Ragnarok, which is currently in production.
