Com2uS is expected to launch a brand-new idle RPG based on SHIFTUP’s well-known IP, Destiny Child, with a rumored global release scheduled for 2026 on mobile platforms.

The project is currently in development at TikiTaka Studio, a subsidiary of Com2uS, following an official partnership agreement signed with SHIFTUP in 2024.

A Return to Stunning Art and Emotional Storytelling

This upcoming title appears to be a revival of the Destiny Child franchise, whose original game officially ended service in September 2023.

For those unfamiliar, Destiny Child was a turn-based RPG featuring real-time combat elements and beautifully animated Live 2D characters. The game gained a strong following thanks to its distinctive art style and emotionally driven narrative.

The new project, however, is expected to adopt an idle RPG format, likely aiming to appeal to a broader modern mobile audience while maintaining the franchise’s signature visual identity.

According to community source ShiftUpWorld, the game is anticipated to preserve the high-quality character illustrations, impressive visual effects, and emotional storytelling that defined the original experience.
