Det ryktes at flere Halo-nyinnspillinger er under utvikling

Halo game series has always been one of the main exclusive titles for Xbox, but this year Halo: Campaign Evolved, the remake of 2001’s Halo: Combat Evolved, is confirmed to be released not only for PC and Xbox Series X/S but for PlayStation 5 as well. The release date for the game is still unconfirmed, but according to a recent report from The Verge portal, the anticipated remake will be released this summer.

However, the fans of the franchise may not wait too long for the next remakes. According to PlayStation insider TMCF, Halo Studios and Xbox Game Studios are looking to release more Halo remakes, with Halo 2 and Halo 3 seeming to be next. He also clarifies these games will not feature multiplayer mode, as this mode will return in the new, seventh installment of the game series, as you can check below:

• Halo Campaign Evolved is confirmed to launch on PS5 later this year;
• Halo remakes will continue according to rumors;
• Halo 2 & 3 remakes will come as well per rumors;
• No new multiplayer until Halo 7 per rumors;

This is not the first time this insider has shared a report about Halo 2 remake. Back in January, he revealed Halo 2 remake will be similar to Halo: Campaign Evolved, include the improved sprinting mechanic, and feature no multiplayer.

At this point, Halo Studios or Xbox Game Studios hasn’t revealed their plans to make more Halo remakes, as well as the release date for Halo: Campaign Evolved, so this report should be considered with a grain of salt.

As for Halo: Campaign Evolved, the game is confirmed to feature 3 new missions, a 4-player co-op mode, 9 extra weapons and offers only a single-player mode. The release date still remains unknown.
