There are speculations the new game of Star Wars Jedi franchise has been in development for a while, though Respawn and Electronic Arts haven't confirmed it yet. However, a new report suggests the game could be released sooner than we expected.

According to Xbox insider Idle Sloth, Star Wars Jedi 3 is expected to release in the first half of 2026. The title expected to be the biggest game of the franchise will have a darker tone and a new protagonist. More details from the insider you can check below:

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was released back in 2019; the game features a Jedi Padawan named Cal Kestis played by Cameron Monaghan and is set five years after Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. The sequel, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, came 4 years after, and, as for the game’s timeline, it is set five years after the ending of Fallen Order.
