Brawl Stars is once again shaking up the Brawl Pass, following the major boost to free-to-play rewards introduced back in July. The December 2025 update brings adjustments to both the free and paid tracks, introduces an all-new Keys and Vault system, updates the pricing for Brawl Pass and Brawl Pass Plus, and adds more value overall. Here’s a full breakdown of everything changing this season.

Major Brawl Pass Changes for December 2025

Brawl Stars clearly wasn’t done improving rewards. This update expands the Brawl Pass with ten additional tiers, introduces new items, and increases overall value — though prices are also going up to $8.99 for the regular pass and $12.99 for the Brawl Pass Plus.

The good news is that players have until January to purchase and stock up on passes at the current price. Even better: Titles and Chroma Skins are moving to the standard Brawl Pass, and every season from now on will feature two Brawl Pass skins along with their Chromas.

Free Track, Brawl Pass, and Brawl Pass Plus — What’s Changing?

Free Track Upgrades

The Free Track is getting another buff:

• +1000 Coins
• +1 Resource Key (redeemable for 2000 Power Points, equivalent to a Buffie)
• Chaos Drops
• Extra Bling
• Additional Credits

Standard Brawl Pass Adjustments

Players can now earn:

• Titles
• Brawl Pass skins
• Chroma variants

The update also introduces three new types of Keys — Resource, Skin, and Brawler Keys — allowing more flexibility in choosing how to advance an account.

Brawl Pass Plus Improvements

Starting in January, the Brawl Pass Plus will include enough Keys to unlock both Brawl Pass skins and all Chromas for the season.On top of that, owners receive 50 extra Gems after this update.

New Item: Keys and the Brawl Pass Vault

One of the biggest additions this season is the introduction of Keys, used to unlock offers in the Brawl Pass Vault.

• Each Vault offer costs 1 Key
• Vintage Skin Sets require 2 Keys

Keys provide far more control over progression — whether a player wants Buffies, skins, or wants to save Keys for older Brawl Pass skins.

• Previous-season skins cost 2 Keys
• Brawl Pass skins introduced from the January 2024 StarrForce Season onward (non-collab skins) will be added to the Skin Vault, purchasable with Keys — and each unlock includes the skin plus both Chromas.

Tail Rewards (Brawl Pass End Rewards)

The Tail Reward system is also getting a major upgrade.

• A Tail Reward now costs 2800 XP
• Rewards can include Demon Drops, Sushi Drops, Chaos Drops, and more
• These end-of-pass rewards always offer better loot than a random Starr Drop

Players can upgrade Tail Rewards using Gems, but they must be claimed before the season ends — otherwise, they convert into a standard reward.
