Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is one the most anticipated videogames that set to release in the near future; not only because of Naughty Dog, the creators of The Last of Us and Uncharted, but also because it's a new IP set in futuristic alternative reality - and that's a really intriguing aspect.

Earlier this week, the fans were really excited because, according to Colin Moriarty, the game should have been presented at The Game Awards 2025; moreover insider claimed Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet will be released in 2026, but, unfortunately, another insider Jeff Grubb denied all of this information. Anyway, despite we probably won't see any footage of Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet anytime soon, we have another report about the details of upcoming game - and it's all sounds really exciting.

Game industry insider Detective Seedshas shared some details of Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. On X social media, he wrote that had some conversation with Naughty Dog developer via Linkedin and asked some questions regarding the game. He revealed that Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet will be "twice bigger" than The Last of Us: Part 2. He didn't mention is it about the duration (main story's duration of The Last of Us: Part 2 is 25 hours), but he said it's about "scale". Also, the game will feature some RPG elements, where player's decision will affect on the story. For now, the developers are working on localization (Colin Moriarty also said this) and Naughty Dog are targeting 2027 as the release year.

All of this sounds really promising especially about the scale of the game and RPG elements that will surely make Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet different from previous titles released by Naughty Dog. Though it's all is not confirmed and should be considered with a grain of salt, we still might receive some information about the game that hopefully will be turn out to be true.
