Marvel Rivals lanserer 30. april-oppdatering – rettelser, skins og zombiehender!

NetEase Games has officially released the April 30 patch notes for Marvel Rivals, bringing a wave of quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and a long-awaited update to Doctor Strange's Multiverse of Madness skin. This update sets the stage for the bigger mid-season patch expected in May.

🔧 Doctor Strange Skin Controversy Resolved

After player backlash, Doctor Strange’s undead skin finally matches its original promo art. The skin now features the much-requested zombie hand shroud—a nod to his eerie MCU transformation. Previously, these visuals only triggered during two Vanguard abilities, leading to accusations of misleading advertising. The new update adds:

• Updated voice effects - Now, Strange looks as spooky as fans expected.

🎉 New Event: Hellfire Gala — Moments

Launching May 2, this limited-time event lets players earn the Wolverine “Patch” costume and additional free rewards.📅 Event runs until May 23.

• Thor’s Hero of Asgard costume has been tweaked for better visibility—no more blocked crosshairs!
• Players can now toggle costume-specific sound effects back to default via Settings.
• Performance scoring has been recalibrated using updated S2.0 hero data.
• Accounts that are locked can now begin the deletion process, even while logged out.

Several hero and map-related bugs have been squashed, including:

Heroes

• Wolverine's Aerial Annihilator now correctly deals damage during midair knockbacks
• Star-Lord’s Rocket Propulsion glitch causing speed decay has been fixed
• Mister Fantastic won’t displace enemies unexpectedly when hitting them inside portals
• Cloak & Dagger’s ultimate no longer bypasses Magneto’s or Hulk’s defenses
• The Thing can no longer leap at allies inside an enemy Invisible Woman’s ultimate
• Wolverine x Invisible Woman bug has been resolved where invisibility effects triggered abnormally
• Ascender won’t be pulled down unexpectedly due to network instability during high climbs

Maps & Modes

• Resolved a checkpoint display bug in Competitive mode
• Fixed a Loki illusion exploit on Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown
• Corrected a summon count issue in Giant-Size Brain Blast
