Rykte: Riot vil gi ut en Prime 3.0-kolleksjon til Valorant, inkludert en Sheriff-skin

Riot Games is reportedly working on a new Prime 3.0 skin collection for Valorant. Well-known dataminer valohabercisi shared the news and also confirmed that the bundle will include a Sheriff skin. Riot hasn’t commented on the information yet.

Along with the news, the leaker posted an image of a Sheriff in Prime’s signature white and gold colors. However, valohabercisi clarified that it’s only an illustration, not what the actual in-game skin looks like. There are no other details yet, including the release date, price, or which other weapons will be in the collection.

Prime is one of the best-known and most beloved skin collections in Valorant. The first one launched alongside the game’s release in June 2020 and became the first skin bundle in Valorant history. It included skins for the Classic, Spectre, Guardian, and Vandal, plus the Prime Axe as a melee weapon. The bundle cost 7,100 VP, and each gun skin could be bought separately for 1,775 VP. The Prime Vandal is still one of the most popular skins in the game and is often used by pro players too.

In March 2021, Riot released a follow-up, the Prime//2.0 collection. It included skins for the Phantom, Frenzy, Bucky, and Odin, along with a karambit knife. The bundle cost the same 7,100 VP, but the skins came with several upgrade levels featuring custom animations, firing sounds, and visual effects. Valorant senior weapons artist Chris Stone described the new collection at the time as an evolution from a luxury sports car to a hypercar.

The Sheriff wasn’t part of either previous Prime collection, so if the leaker’s info holds up, Prime 3.0 will fill that gap. More than five years have passed since Prime//2.0 came out, so many fans have been waiting a long time for a new entry in this beloved series.

There are also rumors that Riot will buff Killjoy and other Sentinel agents in the next patch.
