LEGOs neste Batmobile tar en vill vending
LEGO Batman has been a powerhouse theme for nearly 20 years, covering everything from The Dark Knight trilogy to the ‘60s Adam West show. But one era of the Bat has been completely absent – Joel Schumacher’s Batman Forever (1995). That’s about to change.
According to recent leaks, LEGO will finally release a Batman Forever Batmobile set in the summer of 2025. While no price has been revealed, the build is said to consist of 909 pieces, placing it between LEGO’s previous large-scale Batmobile models.
The most over-the-top Batmobile ever?
Schumacher’s Gotham was neon-drenched, chaotic, and larger-than-life, and his Batmobile was no exception. It retained some Burton-era DNA – bat-wing fins and logo-emblazoned wheels – but took on a ribcage-like fuselage with glowing blue lights and an elongated, hyper-stylized shape.
It’s a striking design, but also one that seems like a nightmare to translate into LEGO form. How LEGO’s designers tackle this uniquely un-LEGO-like structure is one of the biggest questions surrounding the set.
Minifigs and scale: What to expect?

With 909 pieces, the scale will likely be bigger than a standard minifig-sized set but smaller than previous UCS-style Batmobiles. That doesn’t mean minifigures won’t be included, though. A Val Kilmer Batman is basically a guarantee, considering every large Batmobile set since 2012 has included its respective Dark Knight.
As for villains? It’s less certain, but fans wouldn’t say no to a Jim Carrey Riddler or Tommy Lee Jones Two-Face.
Could this open the door for Batman & Robin?
The fact that Batman Forever is getting a set at all is surprising enough. Could this mean LEGO might tackle Schumacher’s other film, the infamous Batman & Robin, for its 30th anniversary in 2027? If LEGO’s willing to embrace the campier side of Batman, anything’s possible.
