Open enrollment for Russian national Overwatch team started

Receipt of applications for selection to the national team will be over on 23 June, as the team will start testing new players on the following day.

The members of the Russian national team will be selected in two stages. The first one represents open try-out. During this stage any players can broadcast their matches at any platforms. It will be taking place from 24 till 27 June. The next stage will be happening in the closed format. The organizers didn’t say when the team’s assembly would get over.

According to the requirements of the world championship, only adults over eighteen from this country can join the Russian national Overwatch team.

The main criteria in search of the players are pick rating and game experience in semi-professional team. The players who will claim to join the Russian national team have to have not less than 4300 solo of the rating in the current. If their experience is not limited by only amateur, it will be a good bonus for the candidates.

The Overwatch world championship in 2019 will be held as a part of the fest BlizzCon in the USA. The battles will start on 1 November.
