Gen.G Esports – første finalist LCK Summer 2022
Today, the League of Legends esports team and Gen.G Esports, the favorite of their region, won the LCK Summer 2022 semi-finals against SANBOX Gaming, thus securing a place in the final and at least qualifying for Worlds 2022.
The meeting went as expected in favor of Gen.G Esports with a score of 3-1. As during the group stage, the top 1 roster of South Korea had no problems in the game with SANBOX Gaming.
Gen.G Ruler's ADK won MVP twice in their first two games and once their top runner Doran. In the only lost game for the MVP meeting, the boatliner SANDBOX Prince, who earned the title of the most valuable player on the new character Nile, became the MVP.
Another thing that is quite remarkable for this series of games is that the esportsmen played games 2 and 3 practically without changing the draft on both sides. Only Renata changed to Rakan on the third map.
So far, Gen.G Esports only continue to prove to everyone that it is not in vain that they are considered one of, if not the strongest team in Korea.
"The time has come. We'll show you all why this year is the Year of the Tiger."
The game for the second place in the final will take place tomorrow between the eminent T1 and the ex-champions DAMWON Gaming. So far, everyone believes more in Faker and T1, which is quite justified. Well, let's see how the match between the teams will go and we will definitely write about it here.
