Pearl Abyss har gitt ut ny oppdatering for Crimson Desert – oppdateringsnotater versjon 2.00.01

Pearl Abyss has announced the release of a new update for Crimson Desert—Patch Notes Version 2.00.01—which, like several previous updates, does not include any new content but is focused on fixing various bugs.

The description on the studio's official website states that Patch Notes Version 2.00.01 fixes a bug related to frame rate drops, improves character lip-syncing in cutscenes, and addresses issues related to launching Crimson Desert on macOS. You can check out the full list of changes below:

• Fixed an issue where some text would display abnormally when the in-game language was set to Arabic.
• Partially improved the lip-sync of characters in certain cutscenes.
• Fixed an issue where the frame rate would drop in certain situations.
• Fixed an issue where the game could not be launched in certain macOS environments.

As part of this week’s Opening Night Live 2026, Pearl Abyss also unveiled a trailer for Crimson Desert Enhanced —an upgrade to the game that includes new story elements, dialogue, and cutscenes. Incidentally, players are loving the new edition: according to them, the story—which had been one of the game’s weakest points—now feels significantly better. It’s also worth noting that Crimson Desert is currently on sale at a 20% discount on all platforms. The sale runs through September 9.

Additionally, Pearl Abyss has confirmed that Crimson Desert will receive a DLC this year but has not yet revealed any details about it. According to recent speculation, it may have a marine and underwater theme.

Crimson Desert and its latest update, Patch Notes Version 2.00.01, are now available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Mac.
