There have also been reports recently about the upcoming presentation for The Witcher 3: Songs of the Past at Gamescom 2026. It's reportedly confirmed to avoid any major spoilers for the base game while still unveiling new content, likely including both a debut trailer and a full gameplay showcase.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Songs of the Past is expected to somehow lay the groundwork for the upcoming fourth mainline game. The DLC releases in 2027 on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
