Insider er sikker på at GTA 6 vil kjøre i 60 FPS på PlayStation 5 Pro

Amid the pre-orders for GTA 6 that kicked off last week, there has been lively discussion about new details of the most anticipated game of 2026. In recent days, the focus has shifted to the expected gameplay modes on the consoles—PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Most often, the questions revolve around whether GTA 6, likely demanding a heavy load on hardware due to its vast scale, will be able to run at 60 FPS on the current generation of consoles.

While Polish insider Boris Nespelyak, who has connections with Rockstar Games, revealed that GTA 6 will feature a Quality Mode running at 30 FPS and a Performance Mode at 60 FPS, the publication Digital Foundry doubts the game will be able to maintain 60 frames per second even on the PlayStation 5 Pro, due to GTA 6's heavy CPU demands. However, another insider, DetectiveSeeds, who is also believed to have multiple industry contacts, expressed confidence on their X page that GTA 6 will not only have a 60 FPS mode on the PlayStation 5 Pro but will also offer several different graphical modes. DetectiveSeeds references a former PlayStation engineer and also points back to a post from last year when an insider mentioned an agreement between Rockstar Games and PlayStation— a collaboration that is already becoming quite apparent. Otherwise, DetectiveSeeds promised to deactivate their account.

I put out almost 2 years ago the significant marketing deal that Rockstar and Playstation had for GTA 6, and we see that now. Then a former Playstation engineer gave me info on the optimization for the PS5 Pro. They also gave me the PSSR, handheld, and other accurate info (They work somewhere else now). I am confident that GTA VI will run at 60fps on the PS5 Pro, and have multiple graphical options. If it does not hit 60fps, I will deactivate and leave this amazing and educational app forever. Despite various speculations, Rockstar Games has not yet made any statements regarding the technical specifications of GTA 6. However, it is quite likely that we will learn more in the coming months as part of the ongoing marketing campaign for the game, including the release of a new trailer and official information.
