Forza Horizon 6 erobrer toppene – De første anmeldelsene av Playground Games' nye racingtittel er ute
Next week will mark the release of a new racing simulator from Playground Games - Forza Horizon 6. Moreover, users of the Premium edition will already be able to try the game tomorrow, May 15, a few days before the official release.
Gaming media have already begun sharing their first impressions of Forza Horizon 6. The new game from Playground Games is predictably receiving high scores from the press. Special attention in reviews is given to the car physics and handling, which are called the best in the entire franchise, the excellently crafted weather system, which also affects gameplay, the impressive map, and many new features. The only aspect noted negatively is the insufficient number of NPCs and cars, considering the Japanese setting, where a higher density is expected. Forza Horizon 6 is currently having a 92 score on Metacritic, based on 62 Critic Reviews, and 91 Top Critic Average on OpenCritic – with 100% Critics Recommend. You can check out some of the game’s reviews below:
Insider Gaming – 100/100:
“Forza Horizon 6's Banksy-level vistas of Japan are breathtaking, and the improvements to the progression system have placed the title at the pinnacle of the racing genre once again.”
Eurogamer – 100/100:
“Playground Games does it again: equal parts adept teacher and artisanal tour guide, Forza Horizon 6 takes the lessons from 14 years of series history and applies them with panache.”
IGN – 100/100:
“Technically, Forza Horizon 6 has not skipped a beat, and it runs like a titan. Aesthetically, it’s the best-looking and best-sounding game Playground has produced to date, set in the most wonderfully realised map it’s ever crafted – full of dense, authentic details and stunning driving roads. It’s rewarding to explore, the campaign is well-paced with a great payoff, and I simply cannot stop playing. I’ll always concede Forza Horizon 3 may forever be my favourite open-world racer, because who doesn’t love driving around their own backyard, but make no mistake: Forza Horizon 6 is unequivocally the best. The new standard in open-world racing is here, and it’s a gundamn masterpiece.”
DualShockers – 95/100:
“There’s already a well-established formula in place, and Playground Games did well to continue delivering one of the best racing experiences you’ll ever have with Forza Horizon 6.”
Game Informer – 93/100:
“Even for a series built on delivering approachable racing action that appeals to both newcomers and hardcore players, Forza Horizon 6 impresses at each turn, delivering one of the greatest racing games of this generation.”
CGMagazine – 90/100:
“Forza Horizon 6 is one of the best games this year, and with its inclusion on Xbox Game Pass, it is a must-play.”
Game Rant – 90/100:
“Forza Horizon 6 is more of the same, but when the "same" is some of the best open-world racing ever produced, it's hard to be mad about it. Racing game fans will easily lose dozens if not hundreds of hours exploring Forza Horizon 6's open world Japan and competing in its many campaign and multiplayer events, and while what's here at launch makes the game worth the price of admission by itself, chances are there will be some fantastic post-launch support that makes the game even better. Simply put, Forza Horizon 6 is a safe investment for racing game enthusiasts and even those who typically don't vibe with the genre.”
Windows Central – 90/100:
Forza Horizon 6 is the series at its most confident, most refined, and most fun. Everything that made the earlier games iconic is back, but with a slicker sheen and events that pop. If you love racing and want an open-world experience that’s equal parts heart and horsepower, Forza Horizon 6 is a no-brainer. It’s the top dog for a reason, and this chapter just cements it.

This week, Forza Horizon 6 found itself at the center of a scandal, as the game's files were leaked, resulting in the game being available on pirate sites. Playground Games officially responded to the leak and confirmed that players who downloaded the leaked version of the game will face a ban across the entire franchise, as well as on the hardware.
Forza Horizon 6 takes players to Japan, where Tokyo will be the biggest city in Forza Horizon’s history. The game will include more than 550 vehicles at the start, customization, new racing modes, dynamic changes in weather conditions, the ability to buy houses and decorate garages, and more.
