With each new installment of Grand Theft Auto game series, Rockstar Games has improved the AI of the police, and fans can’t wait to see what changes are in store for the new, sixth installment of the game. According to a new report from Legion Looterana, with a reference to Gamefa and CBR, we can expect the most realistic police behavior yet—perhaps in any video game.

According to the source, Rockstar Games has completely overhauled the system for police searches for the main characters. We won’t see police cars literally appearing out of nowhere; instead, we can expect realistic, coordinated efforts to search the area where the main characters were last seen. What’s more, passersby on the streets will know what the criminal looks like—and it seems this will apply not only to Jason and Lucy but also to NPCs who will also commit various crimes—robberies, assaults, and so on.

There is a possibility that we will learn new official details about GTA 6 as early as next month, as Take-Two Interactive has confirmed its next earnings call for May 21. Moreover, we may also receive a new trailer of the game; it’s indicated by several sources and factors—including the prediction-based trading platform Kalshi, which estimates a 66% probability that a third trailer for GTA 6 will be released by June 2026. The CEO of Take-Two Interactive, Strauss Zelnick, also revealed that we will find out the price of GTA 6 soon.
