Nytt piratspill, Windrose, solgte 1 million eksemplarer på Steam

After entering an early access stage on April 14, a new pirate simulator, Windrose, developed by Kraken Express, has quickly become a massive hit on Steam —now the game has over 85% positive ratings on Steam. The developers also announced that Windrose has broken its first and very important financial milestone.

On their X social media, Windrose's official account has announced that the game has sold 1 million copies on Steam less than a week since its release in early access, which is a really massive success for the game and the developing studio, Kraken Express. Moreover, it’s been revealed that the game has also broken the record for most players online—200,000—but according to SteamDB, the all-time peak is even bigger—222,134. It’s not a surprise that a lot of gamers are enjoying Windrose, as last month it was revealed that the game has been added to wishlists more than 1.5 million times on Steam, which is incredible.

Windrose is a survival co-op online game set in the open world that features naval battles, base and ship building, world exploration, and crafting. You play as a captain you create yourself in the character editor, then build your own ship, assemble a crew, and live the pirate life to the fullest.

The game is available on PC (Steam) via early access.
