Skuespillerinnen fra «Ghost of Yotei» avslører at hun er klar til å spille Atsu igjen

Last year’s Ghost of Yotei, arguably one of the best games of 2025, and one of the reasons is the game’s protagonist, Atsu. Ghost of Yotei is about revenge, where Atsu is revealed as a strong character. But she wasn't always that way. The game follows her journey from an ordinary person to a powerful samurai.

We don’t know plans from Sucker Punch Productions about the further development of the Ghost franchise, but in the recent interview with VGC, the actress of Atsu, Erika Ishii, revealed that she would love to play the character once again.

“Atsu will always have a special place in my heart. It’s wild that, after three years of getting to live in this character, it’s so easy to sort of just like pull out the voice again or to know, oh, yes, that’s how she would react.

I always, I really, really love that they do anthology stories. The idea of the title being the remarkable thing and how each person who assumes the mantle grows in that moment in time, in which we play their game, is so compelling to me. I love anthology series, but yes, any opportunity to revisit Atsu’s world again, I would jump at, absolutely.”

Released last year on PlayStation 5, Ghost of Yotei has won multiple awards throughout the year—including Console Game of the Year at Golden Joystick Awards and Adventure Game of the Year and Outstanding Achievement in Character at D.I.C.E. Awards. At the latest BAFTA Games Awards 2026, Ghost of Yotei has won in two categories—Music and Technical Achievement. You can also check the full results of BAFTA Games Awards 2026 here.

Earlier this year, the game also received a multiplayer mode—Ghost of Yotei: Legends.
