As revealed by Variety, Noomi Rapace (Lamb, Prometheus), Ramzy Bedia (Of Money and Blood, Haunted Minds), Sean Harris (Mission: Impossible, The Stranger), and Corrado Invernizzi (Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Ford v. Ferrari) will play in Netflix’s Assassin’s Creed, though their roles haven’t been revealed yet. They are now joining the company of previously announced cast so far: Toby Wallace, Lola Petticrew, Zachary Hart, Laura Marcus, and Tanzyn Crawford.

Netflix’s Assassin’s Creed TV Show Adds Four New Actors to the Cast 1

Previous reports suggested Toby Wallace is having a lead role in the series; he’s probably playing a titular assassin, while such historical figures as Emperor Nero and Seneca are expected to appear in the show. Roberto Patino (Westworld) and David Wiener (Homecoming) will serve as the series’ showrunners, while the writers team consists of Sanaz Toossi (A League of Their Own), Sam Reynolds (The Walking Dead: World Beyond), Daniel Goldberg, and Tom Hemmings.

Except for Assassin’s Creed show for Netflix, Ubisoft is actively working on multiple Assassin’s Creed video games—Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, the remake of 2013’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, the next mainline game in the franchise, Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe, the multiplayer title Assassin’s Creed Codename Invictus, and more.

As production has already started, the release date of Netflix’s Assassin’s Creed is still unknown, but the show is likely to be released somewhere in 2027.
