Cyberpunk 2077 får snart en gratis oppdatering til PlayStation 5 Pro

Cyberpunk 2077, the latest entry from CD Projekt RED, was released back in 2020, but the game is still widely discussed. Despite it not receiving any story expansions in the future, the developers have recently confirmed.

CD Projekt RED also announced a new update for Cyberpunk 2077 related to the game’s support of PlayStation 5 Pro technologies. A free update is expected to arrive soon, and the release date is likely to be revealed in the coming weeks. The studio also stated this update will not add any new content to Cyberpunk 2077. “Get ready to go PS5 Pro, chooms — a free Cyberpunk 2077 technological update for the PS5 version of the game is coming in the not-too-distant future!

Stay tuned for more deets in the coming weeks!

For transparency: this update will not be introducing any new in-game content. It will release only for the PS5 version of the game and is solely focused on allowing it to take advantage of the expanded hardware capabilities offered by the PS5 Pro system.”

CD Projekt RED is confirmed to be working on Cyberpunk 2077’s sequel, which has no release date; the game is reportedly having a multiplayer and set in a new city inspired by Chicago. Moreover, Night City from the original game is also expected to appear.
