Sony er bekreftet å lage flere enspillertitler fremfor live-service-spill

PC gamers have received multiple PlayStation games that initially were exclusives, like The Last of Us and The Last of Us: Part II, Horizon, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man franchises, etc. Obviously, it brought an additional profit to Sony, but it seems like the company is about to change this strategy soon.

First revealed by Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, Sony is likely to release only live-service games to PC over AAA single-player titles, like Marvel’s Wolverine. Another gaming insider, NateTheHate, has clarified the company made a decision to release fewer of their titles on PC last year, as they’re shifting their strategy. Although some games that could be in development for PC right now are still expected to release someday.

There is another report from Neogaf’s gaming scooper SneakersSO, who states Sony is expected to make more single-player titles than live-service games in the next couple of years, as you can check his post below:

“We're talking about games in the future. I understand if folks are disappointed with the output on this front, but there are loads of changes happening now that we'll see increasingly over the next 3-4 years that are more in line with what folks preferred from them. That isn't to say live-service titles are done and dusted btw.”

It seems like upcoming Sony titles, like Marvel’s Wolverine, Saros, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, and so on, will remain exclusives for PlayStation 5 and are not expected to release on PC anytime soon, which is a frustrating update for all PC users. But, as insider SneakersSO clarifies, Sony will definitely be in line with the players, so maybe they will change their strategy.
