Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier has recently appeared on a new Triple Click Podcast, where he revealed Sony may stop releasing PlayStation's single-player titles on PC in favor of live-service games. He’s also made a prediction that the upcoming Marvel’s Wolverine, which is set to release on PlayStation 5 this September, will never be released on PC, unlike the Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise, developed by the same studio, Insomniac Games. You can check more of Schreier’s words below:

“I mean, I think for them, their strategy is like, live service games are coming to PC. But I think the sense I'm getting is that they're backing away from putting their exclusive console stuff like traditional single-player stuff on PC. I mean even if they don't, we are seeing Wolverine is coming in September 15th, and that's not coming to PC its coming to PlayStation 5 only. I wouldn't be surprised if it never came to PC, but even if it does you have a strong idea of what that is and that you need a PlayStation to play it at least for the indefinite future.”

Sony Could Stop Releasing Their Single-Player Titles on PC 1

Although it’s just a speculation for now, Jason Schreier is a reliable person in gaming industry, and if he says something, he definitely has a subsoil and a basis to make a statement. However, we know that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, the former exclusive of PlayStation 5, is coming to PC next month, and that could indicate Sony will still continue to port its titles.
