Avlyst God of War Live-Service-spill med Atreus som hovedperson

Bluepoint Games studio has been one of the most discussing topics over the past few weeks. Not only that it was shut down by Sony, it was revealed that before the closure studio pitched to make 4 different titles, including the remake of 2015’s Bloodborne – which was approved by Sony but not the developers, FromSoftware.

The last studio’s project was a live-service God of War game that was eventually cancelled in 2025. The details of this game were mostly unknown, however, it is now being revealed that Atreus – one of the most important characters of God of War (2018) and God of War: Ragnarok, was the protagonist of live-service cancelled God of War title. The game was set to feature Atreus fell into the Hades and fight in the underworld, where we could also play as different version of the character. The co-op mode was also reportedly in the game, thought, a lot of the God of War live-service design was in the flux.

Even despite God of War live-service game was cancelled, it is confirmed that new franchise games are in development. Specifically, God of War Trilogy Remake, announced at the latest PlayStation’s State of Play, is in the works for PlayStation 5, and it will feature TC Carson as Kratos. Moreover, Santa Monica’s new project is rumored to be officially announced this summer, and it could be the new God of War video game set in Egypt.

As for Atreus specifically, recently we’ve got our first look at Amazon’s God of War series featuring Ryan Hurst as Kratos and Callum Vinson as Atreus, respectively. The show is confirmed to adapt God of War (2018) and God of War: Ragnarok stories.
